We've moved!

Hi folks -- sorry for the even more lax than usual posting. We bought a house! We moved across town! My computer is not yet hooked up! In fact, I'm using a cellular modem and a few minutes of borrowed time while the lowercase isn't complaining about the high chair to let you all know.

There are a lot of posts to write...more about my mother-in-law, fun moving things, my not-yet-18-month-old boy counting to six, and the fact that he's FINALLY walking independently! And maybe even some pictures of the little guy enjoying his new back yard!

I promise -- some time in the next 2 weeks once I have my kitchen put away and not in boxes on the floor, my desk put together and the damned LAN set up. And of course once I've had time to go through and read everyone else's archives.

About a week ago I had a message in my voice mail. It was the portrait studio where we take the lowercase asking if we would please come pick up our prints.

Naturally, I assumed it was a mistake and promptly put it out of my mind. This afternoon I called to let them know they had called the wrong family. They looked up our name and informed me that we had a 10x13 portrait waiting for us.

Huh? The lowercase hasn't had a picture taken in...um...nearly 6 months.

Apparently I ordered the larger size when I had his 1 year portraits taken in late October/early November. And uh...never got it.

Does this qualify me to run for the WWM title?

I'm always a sucker for those extra prints too... then I get them home and I think... what in the WORLD am I going to do with a moody, sepia 11x13" shot of my sister and daughter??
